Viadex has confirmed the appointment of Aidan Rees-Williams as its new Chief Revenue Officer, bringing on board a leader with deep commercial roots across the technology sector. The hire lands at a moment when enterprises are actively seeking dependable partners capable of rolling out technology on a global scale. Viadex currently operates in more than 100 countries and has built out dedicated practices spanning AWS, cloud, and managed services.
Rees-Williams isn't new to the company — he began his career there, spending his first six years at Viadex before moving on. His return brings both institutional familiarity and a wider lens shaped by broader industry experience. In his new role, he'll take the reins of Viadex's commercial operations and help steer the business through its next stage of expansion.
Going forward, Rees-Williams plans to prioritize long-term customer roadmaps designed to tackle the difficulties companies face when sourcing and deploying technology across borders. He'll also work directly with clients to help them manage increasingly complex technology environments, while Viadex continues building out its global IT infrastructure and managed services offerings.
Rees-Williams described this as an especially exciting moment for Viadex, noting that AI is reshaping what businesses expect from their infrastructure partners. He framed his mission as helping clients stay focused on their core priorities while Viadex handles the complexity of global technology sourcing, deployment, and management — with a personal commitment to delivering measurable results at every step for both customers and the business.
A Track Record in Global Sales Leadership
Prior to rejoining Viadex, Rees-Williams spent time at Continent 8 Technologies, where he climbed from Senior Account Director to Head of North American Sales. During his tenure there, he oversaw the North American P&L and directed go-to-market strategy across multiple technology segments, including cloud, connectivity, managed infrastructure, and cybersecurity. His client roster included major tier-one operators such as FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
That background equips Rees-Williams with strong commercial instincts alongside hands-on exposure to technical infrastructure and heavily regulated markets. This blend of commercial strategy and technical fluency is expected to serve Viadex well as it scales its global deployment services. He also intends to prioritize long-term enterprise relationships, taking a client-first approach that starts with understanding business goals before mapping out technology solutions.
Strengthening Viadex's Commercial Direction
Rees-Williams' return bolsters Viadex's leadership bench at a time when demand for technology solutions keeps shifting. The company remains focused on helping organizations navigate complex global infrastructure needs, all while continuing to grow its cloud and managed services portfolio across its 100-plus-country footprint.
That expansive reach positions Viadex to support multinational businesses and serve varied regional technology needs. Rees-Williams' background in regulated industries adds another layer of value, giving him insight into the technical and commercial hurdles organizations face when managing demanding infrastructure requirements — insight that should help shape more effective customer roadmaps aligned with broader business goals.
Dino Cooper, Founder and CEO of Viadex, said Rees-Williams brings a clear understanding of the business, the sector, and client needs, along with the experience necessary to lead Viadex into its next growth chapter, adding that his history of driving enterprise revenue in some of the world's most demanding regulated markets is highly relevant to both clients and strategic goals.
Prioritizing Long-Term Customer Value
Viadex intends to build on Rees-Williams' commercial background to fuel sustainable growth. Rather than focusing purely on traditional revenue generation, his mandate centers on forming partnerships shaped around specific customer needs and helping clients manage the intricacies of global technology operations. This reflects a broader industry trend: more companies want partners capable of overseeing infrastructure across multiple regions at once.
Viadex's existing capabilities — spanning AWS, cloud, connectivity, managed infrastructure, and cybersecurity — position it to meet that demand, and Rees-Williams' enterprise-focused experience aligns closely with the company's target customer base, given his history working with major operators in complex technical environments.
Dan Hayden-Hammond, Managing Director of Viadex, called the opportunity ahead significant and said Rees-Williams is the right person to seize it, citing his combination of commercial rigor and genuine insight into customer objectives, and expressed enthusiasm about working alongside him as the business scales.
Rees-Williams' return gives Viadex an experienced commercial leader whose industry knowledge is expected to support its ongoing expansion plans. The company says it will continue strengthening its global technology deployment capabilities while focusing on delivering measurable value through lasting customer partnerships.
