The latest Horizon activity sends players on a fun search through Japan, and knowing where to look can save plenty of time. The Mascot Party is located in the Shimanoyama region on the western side of the map, with Horizon Stadium serving as the main landmark. For players working through weekly objectives, Forza Horizon 6 Boosting can help with broader progression, but this particular challenge is much easier once you know exactly where the mascot area is located.
Finding Horizon Stadium
Start by heading toward the western side of Shimanoyama and look for a large circular area close to the water. The location is easy to recognize once you are nearby because a purple globe icon marks it on the map. This icon also allows you to fast travel directly to the area, making it much more convenient than driving across the region.
The location is known as Horizon Stadium, but the name can be slightly misleading if you are expecting a traditional racing circuit. The area is being used for a large mascot celebration, with different sections dedicated to characters representing regions throughout Japan.
Fast travel is the quickest option if the Horizon Stadium icon is already unlocked. Otherwise, simply drive toward the circular waterfront area and use the map to guide yourself toward the event location.
Exploring the Mascot Party
Once you arrive, take a moment to look around before immediately searching for the objective. The party is divided into several themed sections, with different Japanese regions represented by their respective mascots.
This layout is useful because it turns what could have been a simple photo objective into a small sightseeing activity. Each area has its own decorations and visual details, so driving through the party grounds is a good way to familiarize yourself with the location.
For the challenge in question, you are specifically looking for the Minamino Edamame section. It is not necessarily the first area you will encounter after fast traveling, so following the main route is the easiest approach.
Reaching the Minamino Section
After loading into the party, turn right and remain on the main path. You will eventually encounter a Time Attack event along the route. This can make it seem as though you have taken a wrong turn, but there is no need to start the event.
Simply continue driving along the path. The objective is located farther ahead, so ignore the race marker and keep following the road through the party area.
Eventually, you should begin seeing cardboard cutouts featuring the Edamame mascot. Look closely at the nearby signs because they are marked with the word “Minamino.” Once you see those signs and the mascot displays, you have reached the correct section.
Setting Up the Photo
The final step is straightforward. Stop your car near the Edamame mascot displays and activate Photo Mode. Position your vehicle so that the mascot is clearly visible in the background, then take the required picture.
You do not need to get out of your vehicle for this objective. That distinction is important because some previous photo challenges have required players to capture their character outside the car.
The Tokyo City Dango photo challenge from Autumn used a different setup, so players who remember that objective should not assume the same requirements apply here.
Avoiding Unnecessary Detours
One of the easiest ways to waste time on this challenge is to become distracted by the Time Attack event. The event marker naturally draws attention, especially when you are following the main path for the first time.
However, the event is simply something you pass on the way to the Minamino area. There is no need to enter it, complete it, or change vehicles specifically for it. Staying on the main route will eventually bring you to the mascot displays.
It is also worth checking your camera angle before taking the photo. The mascot needs to be recognizable in the background, so a slightly wider shot can be more reliable than focusing entirely on your car.
Completing the Mascot Challenge
The Horizon Mascot Party is a nice example of how Forza Horizon 6 mixes exploration with simple photo objectives. The activity does not require a difficult race or complicated driving technique. Instead, the challenge is mainly about identifying the correct location and recognizing the Minamino Edamame display.
If you are planning a broader progression session, FH6 Boosting can be useful for players who want to advance through other activities efficiently, but this mascot task itself is mostly about following the correct route.
Once you have photographed your car with the Edamame mascot behind it, the objective should be ready to register. With the location memorized, returning to the Horizon Stadium area for similar challenges should be much easier.
